ILS is a twin wall insulated pre-fabricated domestic oil vent chimney system, designed for use on kerosene (28Sec Oil) where the appliance is required to operate under negative pressure and dry conditions and where the flue gas temperature will not exceed 250°C.

ILS is available in three diameters covering 100mm, 125mm and 150mm internal diameter and is constructed using a corrosion resistant grade 316L stainless steel liner purpose, 6mm insulated annulus and a Zalutite outer case. ILS is designed for internal and external use with easy on-site installation.

ILS is designed for use on gas and kerosene appliances fitted with a draught diverter to the following specifications; temperature continuous 250°C with a pressure capability of40Pa. (N1) Operating at negative / zero pressure only. ILS carries BS EN 1856-1 T250 N1 D Vm L50050 O(50) approvals with a 1.5 hour fire rating to BS 476: Part 20 and CE , OFTEC OFcert scheme OFS E106 Certifcation.

Manufactured to BS EN 1856-1 and tested to BS EN 1859 all components are also manufactured under a quality assurance schemer certificate number FM01079.

All ILS components are designed to be installed with the male coupling uppermost. The female swaged coupling is pushed into place and twisted to provide a firm and secure connection by a simple locking device. Wall bands are available in the full range of sizes to suit the vents. Wall-fixed installations should be used at 3m centres. The bands give 50mm clearance to the wall and provide lateral stability.

Provision should be made for inspecting and cleaning the chimney.
