Mi-Flues vitreous enamelled stove pipe has been specifically engineered to give an authentic visual whilst being manufactured using the latest available technology. The piping is produced in zero carbon steel with two coats, both internally and externally of superior class A quality enamel applied. All enamelled components are made from thick zero carbon steel. All joints are fully welded providing an excellent gas sealed joint offering minimum resistance to flue gas flow.
The vitreous enamel piping comes in five standard diameters 100mm, 125mm, 180mm and 200mm. As standard it is available in three colours matt black, gloss black, gloss white , however Mi-Vit can be enamelled in any colour.

Mi-Flues vitreous components have been designed for quick and easy installation with the socket (female coupling) directed upwards and the male end facing down sealed with fire cement and/or fibre rope. The vitreous piping should be fitted at least three times the diameter away from a combustible. The system has a number of components including pipes, elbows, pipe adapters, condense traps, ceiling and wall rosettes, and pipes with cleaning doors.
All sockets (female ends)should be upward, with the spigot (male end) dropping into the socket. Each joint must be coated with a jointing compound (fire cement or high temperature silicone sealant). This makes sure that nocondensate can escapeand spoil the appearance of the pipe.
Provision should be made for inspecting and cleaning the chimney. This is particularly important on solid fuel applications.
It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.
