MD+ Twin Wall is a prefabricated chimney system suitable for gas, diesel, wood and coal. The specially designed twin wall insulated flue liner is constructed from 316 grade inner and a 304 grade outer. The two walls sandwich a 25mm thick layer of high density installation. This multi fuel twin wall system can be installed internally or externally.

Negarra MD+ can be used on the following fuel applications:

Gas, Wood, Coal, other Solid Fuels, Diesel.

The Mi-Flues MD+ flue system is approved and tested to EN1856:2 2004 at 450°C with 65mm clearance from combustibles. The design is also CE, HETAS and NF approved.

The MD+ system has built in locking bands and should be installed with the male end facing upwards. A tee with cap either 90 or 135 degree should be installed at the base to provide access for inspection and cleaning.
A wall support should be installed every 10 metres with wall brackets every 2.5 metres.

Maintenance   Top Of Page
Provision should be made for inspecting and cleaning the chimney. This is particularly important on solid fuel applications.

It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.
